It was constructed using a wreath frame as the base and recycled cardboard for the dome structure. To connect to my head I used a ball cap that I cut the brim off of and attached to the wreath frame using elastic. This permitted the frame to hang down and move independently from my head. To mimic the frills on the mushroom I used black tulle, this also allowed me to see through it while obstructing the view of my eyes to others. This was constructed during October of 2023, during my senior year of high school.
